Writing, music and the visual arts have made their mark throughout history. In the twentieth-century, one sees so many styles of expression, that it is almost impossible to categorize and document it all. Artists have sought to represent and to de-represent the world as they saw it. Artists have sought to challenge all the confines of visual expression. Artists have indeed brought their blatant comments on society and all its woes to the forefront.
